Two Historians Margarita Torres and Jose Manuel Ortega del Rio has written a book titled "Kings of the Grail" In their book they claimed a cup Made of agate, gold and onyx and encrusted with precious stones is the Cup Jesus Christ drank from during his last supper with his disciples. Before now the Cup was known as the goblet of the Infanta Dona Urraca, daughter of Fernando I, King of Leon from 1037 to 1065. The Historians who has been on a three year investigation claimed that their studies led them to identify the upper part of the princess's goblet, made of agate and missing a fragment as described in the parchments, as the grail... one of the most
prized relics in Christianity. It was offered to Fernando, a powerful Christian Spanish king, as a peace offering by the emir of a kingdom in the Muslim part of Spain at the time, Torres said
We too are of the opinion that this is absolutely not the Cup Jesus Christ drank from, for the simple fact that he lived a simple life, the last supper was not held in his or any of his disciples house, but an INN (Guest House or Hotel) and no Hotel would use such a cup to serve anyone particularly not the son of a Carpenter. What matters is the Message of Christ and not which cup he drank from, so people should stop fighting and arguing about what is not relevant

Of cause this has sparked debates, discussions from Believers, Critics and Atheist alike See below
SHARON M: Jesus, the son of a carpenter, would have had either a wood or a pottery cup. After the last supper, the cup, along with the other dishes, would have been collected and cleaned. It would have then been used by someone else at a later date. If the cup was made from wood, it would have rotted by this time. If, on the other hand, it was made of pottery, it was probably broken and then remade into something else or discarded.
WYATT: OMG, there is no end to the stupidity of mankind. This may be a holy grail, but it is "NOT" the "Holy Grail" in which Jesus used at the "Last Supper". Jesus was a carpenter and a simple man that had simple needs, and this cup that they claim is the grail is to fancy. Unless this cup was given to him as a gift, he would have never owned such a cup, he could simple not afford it. Even Indana Jones would not be fooled with this one, try again people!!!

but certainly not as beautiful as this in the article. Years of wear and travel and another 2 thousand years, any goblet would become unrecognizable.
